The main divisions of the Academic University are the following:

• Nanotechnology Centre headed by the Vice-Rector for Science and Education,  Member of the RAS Mikhail V. Dubina;
• Higher Education Centre headed by the Vice-Rector for Higher Education, Corresponding Member of the RAS Alexey E. Zhukov;
  Departments:
  • Department of Physics and Technology of Nanostructures;
  • Department of Mathematics and Information Technology;
  • Department of Physics of Condensed Matter;
  • Department of Theoretical Physics;
  • Department of Foreign Languages;
• Basic Education Centre (Lyceum “Physical-Technical School”) headed by the Vice-Rector for Basic Education, Lyceum headmaster, Teacher Emeritus Mikhail G. Ivanov.

Scientific-Educational Auditorium headed by the Academic Secretary of the Academic University, Honoured Scientist of the Russian Federation, Professor Yuri V. Trushin, works on a permanent basis.
