The laboratory of renewable energy sources focuses on:
For the development of concentrator photovoltaics, a special complex has been set up which embraces such advanced technologies as molecular beam epitaxy and clean room facilities with a complete set of post-growth technologies for the manufacturing of photovoltaic converter chips. Technological strength and configuration of the equipment after its complete implementation will allow effective and up to date combination of fundamental and applied research in the laboratories for photovoltaic conversion of solar energy, laboratory of nanoelectronics and laboratory of physics of nanostructures with manufacturing high-quality epitaxial semiconductor heterostructures and chips for multi junction photovoltaic converters. In addition, state-of-the-art technical facilities for teaching senior students, post-graduate students and young researchers in the field of advanced semiconductor technologies are arranged.
